Drive
Drive is the starting point for managing your data, whether you've uploaded it or others have shared it with you.
The data you upload is organized into folders. You can manage them the way you want. Create subfolders within folders, move folders to other folders, move individual files, datasets and objects between folders.
Inside each folder there is a certain structure that divides it into three sections:
- child folders
- datasets
- archaeological objects.
Note: if an archaeological object contains some data (3D models, point clouds and images), this data belongs to an object itself and can be accessed and viewed via object record .
"Shared with me" structured similar to "My Drive" but here you have no permission to move folders and other items around since it contains all the folders, objects and datasets that other RootScout users have given you access to.
For ease of use in both “My Drive” and “Shared with me” directories, you can:
- sort data by different parameters
- search within the folder
- switch view mode
- select a folder, dataset or object and view detailed information
